At
the Area Meetings,
members get charged up
over higher ed bond vote
With
university chancellors and community college presidents cheering
them on, NCCBI members attending the Area Meetings got fired up
about the higher education bonds and then went to the polls and
helped the referendum achieve a landslide victory. Chairman Mac
Everett declared the annual tour a
success. A total of 1,725 members and guests attended the
events, up from 1,665 last year.

Legislative Conference
next big event on the schedule
With the elections and the Area Meetings now over, NCCBI turns
its attention to plans for your annual Legislative Conference,
which will be Feb. 22 in Raleigh.
